She sets out to guide him subtly towards more maturity in love and management. But Head Offices have long memories and can be spiteful as Martin finds out when some past errors come back to haunt him. He believes the Head Office is out to get him and resolves, unwisely, to take all on In a final day of reckoning at Head Office, Martin gets his revenge and suffers a few revelations on the way. He is eventually outwitted by someone he has never met before and the impact made on him changes his life forevermore.
